AUSTRALIA, QUEENSLAND. Congratulations to Qld Enduro for securing sponsorship from Husqvarna Australia for the Husky Sprint Series for another year.
Husqvarna has backed the series for the last four years, and this year’s series will take on a little extra significance.

“With no four-day held last year,” said Mark Counsell of the Queensland Enduro Sub-Committee, “this is an important grading opportunity for riders pushing for Queensland team selection for this year’s A4DE.

“We’d like to thank Husqvarna Brand Manager for Queensland, NSW and ACT, Nathan Crawford, for bringing that agreement into its fifth consecutive year.”
The series will expand to four rounds this year, and work is well underway on the new track at Cooby Dam, north of Toowoomba, which will play host to the opening rounds on February 24 and 25.

The Husqvarna Sprint Series will conclude at Roma on August 25 and 26.

Husqvarna Factory Enduro Team rider Fraser Higlett will come into the series as defending Champion but is likely to face a determined challenge for the top peg from his teammate Lachy Stanford.
