WEM and the Pirelli MX Nationals announce venue change for rounds 7 and 8 of the 2018 Australian Motocross Championships. Series promoter Kevin Williams has announced that there is a venue change for rounds 7 and 8 to be held on 14/15 July 2018, the second ‘double-header’ round with the series was originally scheduled to run a super stadium cross at Maitland, New South Wales, however, due to unforeseen issues with the venue the scheduled round cannot go ahead.

“I am excited to be taking the series to the completely new and totally revamped Ranch MX venue in Raymond Terrace,” stated WEM’s Kevin Williams, “alongside Boyd Events and with the support from the Port Stephens Council we have managed to change our venue and relocate to this amazing new one.” shared Williams.

“I went to the new Ranch MX venue in Raymond Terrace only a few short weeks ago and, wow, I was excited to see the impressive transformation they have done, many riders who have been to the venue in the past will not recognize it and I am confident it will be a rider and crowd pleaser alike” concluded Williams.

WEM and Boyd Events have a long-standing relationship and are pleased to once again have the opportunity to be working together again with support this year from Port Stephens Council.

Port Stephens Council Economic Development and Tourism Coordination, Janelle Gardner said, the “Council is really excited to have the opportunity to bring this event to Raymond Terrace, which will see over 450 competitors and officials along with an estimated daily crowd of 3,000 people visit Port Stephens to enjoy all our region has to offer. It’s not only great for our local motocross enthusiasts, but it will also have a really positive economic impact across the entire local community.” Concluded Gardner.
