AUSTRALIA, QUEENSLAND. Motorcycling Queensland (MQ) has welcomed their newest affiliated club, the Hinterland Enduro Junior Development Club.

“MQ welcomes our newest affiliated club, the Hinterland Enduro Junior Development Club.” Stated Motorcycling Queensland. “We coaxed Dave Thompson to turn off the grader for a second and tell us all about the team’s vision.”

“We’re right on the boundary between SEQ and CQ, so we’re smack in the middle of two zones,” said Dave Thompson. “This year we’re doing an SE event and next year hopefully CQ as well, so we’re hoping to have a good turnout. Our focus is basically all about giving juniors somewhere to ride. We’re flat out at the moment, since a lot of guys in the club haven’t had much to do with setting up events, and we’ve got the KTM Pony Express and the XC on the 23rd and 24th of June. We’re right into the marking out, and trying to put in a third of each between open grass track riding, rocky creek, and semi-open stuff through the trees. The other thing about our location is that it’s pretty good for spectators – they’ll see a fair bit action from the campsite areas.” Concluded Mr Thompson.
