UNITED STATES. New South Welshman Hayden Mellross has continued to turn heads in the Pro Motocross Series. June 30 the series headed to Southwick the sixth round of the twelve round series, affectionately known as ‘the Wick’ a notorious physically demanding sand track. With a sixteen, sixteen placings in the motos lead to seventeenth overall for Mellross, adding ten points advancing to twenty-sixth in his series standings after missing five rounds due to injury.

“I believe we took a step forward and made some small improvements this weekend,” stated Hayden Mellross. “The team and I worked hard all day and finished with 16-16 moto scores at Southwick. Learnt a lot and Iโ€™m ready to work hard to better myself this week! Thank you to everyone and all the Aussies behind me! ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ“ธ @browndogwilson delivering a killer shot!” concluded Mellross.

The series heads to Redbud for round seven, where the Des Nations will be held later in the year. Hopefully, Australian team selectors are watching Redbud this weekend looking at Aussie riders competing in a Pro Motocross Round, and looking to see how the track shapes up to select a team that will do well. Chad Reed has expressed interest socially that he would like to represent Australia one last time and stated that if that happened Redbud Des Nations would be his last Motocross race.
