AUSTRALIA. EMX125cc Championship leader, KINI KTM’s Rene Hofer, has said that he will be making the trip to Australia. In 2016, Hofer won the 85cc World Championship and EMX85 Championship (which runs with the MXGP) and had been tipped for the EMX125 Championship which he is leading the series by 30 points with three rounds to go, and is the only rider to win both motos for the round victory in 2018. Finishing fifth in the Junior Worlds in 2017, Rene will be looking for a 2016 repeat on the 125 (to win the EMX125 and the Junior World 125cc).
