Herlings, Prado top of the free practice list in Latvia

EUROPE, LATVIA. Day One of the MXGP of Latvia has begun, in the MX2 KTMs Jorge Prado topped the Free Practice with the best lap time of 1:52.01 at the new reverse layout of Kegums 12 May 2018. Thomas Kjer Olsen clocked the second fastest time (1:52.287) on his Husqvarna, while Calvin Vlaanderen marked the third fastest time of 1:52.326 on his Honda. Australian Hunter Lawrence has made his return from injury clocking the thirteenth (1:54.180) fastest time on his Honda, and fellow countryman Jed Beaton (1:54.198) clocked the fourteenth fastest time on his Kawasaki.

Jeffrey Herlings was the fastest on track in the MXGP (MX1) piloting his KTM to a 1:47.605 lap time, Honda’s Tim Gasjer (1:50.621) had the second fastest time and Antonio Cairoli (1:50.725) the third fastest time. Australian Todd Waters has made his return to MXGP with HRC Honda clocking the twenty-third fastest time 1:55.162.
