COLAC VICS CANCELLED

By |2018-05-11T22:52:52+00:00May 11th, 2018|Categories: BROADCAST NEWS, MX SX AX NEWS|

Well, f**k a duck, was looking forward to watching some awesome racing this weekend trackside, however, the powers that be have cancelled the Colac Round. Just a shame that riders that prefer and do better in the wet/muddy conditions will not be able to use their skill effectively and use that skill to advance their points in the 2018 Victorian Motocross Championships.

“MX Management wishes to advise to all riders that this weekends round of racing at Colac has been postponed.  The current condition of the track as at 10 pm last night was fine with the rain that they have had to date.  They have accessed the track just now after a shower of rain and although the track would be fine for Saturday, Sunday could be a possibility of a no go.  Rather than chance, the club has declared it best in both the clubs and riders interest to postpone.

We thank the club for advising this early, and whilst you may all have opinions on when what or how things should be we work with the clubs as they are there and are assessing conditions constantly. And the anticipated rain that was expected to date has not actually occurred.”
