Victorian Daniel Sanders has clinched the E3 title at the 2015 International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) in Solvakia. Sanders was 2:20.21 clear of Mathias Belino (France) and Oscar Balletti (Italy), driving Junior World Trophy Team Australia of Daniel Sanders, Broc Grabham, Tom Mason and Tye Simmonds to victory, 15:26.84 ahead of Team Sweden.
Victoiran’s Tom Mason and Daniel Sanders, along with Tye Simonds clinched third in the Manufactures Trophy for KTM Australia 17:38.75 behind second place Yamaha Australia Team of Josh Green, Victorian Daniel Milner and Beau Ralston.
In the controversial World Trophy, results are still provision as the FIM hasn’t made a final ruling on the 8 riders that missed a time check, Team France is on top even though 3 riders are protesting the exclusion for missing a time check. In the long history of the ISDE, missing a time check is an automatic exclusion, it is difficult to stomach why the FIM reversed the penalty after a protest was longed by Team France. The matter should fall in favour of the Australian Team of Josh Green, Victorian Daniel Milner, Matty Phillips, Beau Ralston, Lachlan Stanford, and Glen Kearny. This will mean that for the first time in history one team has clean swept all classes at the ISDE, the World Trophy, the Junior World Trophy and the Women’s World Trophy.
Victorian Daniel Milner was 43.39 behind E2 Victor Great Britian’s Jamie McCanney for second place.
Tayla Jones won the Women’s outright, 11:37.37 ahead of fellow Australian Team mate Jemma Wilson and Jessica Gardener in third place.
