AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, ADELAIDE. The SA MX Sports Managers are pleased to announce the classes that will contest the 2017 South Australian MX Championship along with the race format for each of the five rounds that kick off on April 8 and 9 in Port Lincoln.

In the first of the changes from 2016, the 128-150cc 2 Stroke/200-250cc 4 Stroke 13-U16 Years class will return to the Saturday schedule after being moved to Sunday this year. This will allow for a broad cross-section of classes to contest the first day of competition whilst also providing the opportunity to expand the number of races for the senior classes on the Sunday.

For Sunday, both MX1 and MX2 will have the Expert and Intermediate classes split to have their own races. All classes across both Saturday and Sunday will contest three moto’s per day with a highlight being for both MX1 Expert and MX2 Expert being one 20 minute race on the Sunday schedule. The below tables outline the classes and accompanying race distances that will occur throughout the 2017 Championship.
