AUSTRALIA, NEW SOUTH WALES. After much planning, the NSW MX State Championship Co-ordinators are able to confirm the dates and locations for the 2017 events.

Next year, The Senior event will be held at the much loved Hastings Valley track in Port Macquarie on the weekend of the 25th and 26th February 2017. With 5 rounds of racing scheduled over the two days, the event will provide plenty of riding for those entered and if well supported will be the catalyst increasing the series to similar multiple rounds in 2018 and beyond.

The Junior Series will once again be a three round affair visiting all points of the compass, kicking off in the ACT on 15th and 16th April 2017, before moving out west to the formidable Goanna Tracks complex in Coonabarabran on the 3rd and 4th June for round 2. The final and possibly deciding round will be held at the Lakes club on the 8th and 9th July 2017.

We thank the host clubs for coming on board to again host these events.

All proceeds raised from these events are funnelled back evenly in each club to improve their venues. 2016 saw each host club earn just under $11,000 from their cut of the series and with these funds being utilised to improve facilities for members, the reward for entering is not only measured in the State Championships on offer.

The 2017 co-ordinators for the series are Maree Kirby and Darren Fitzgibbon, these volunteers should be the initial contact point for any enquiries. Their details will be included upon the Supplementary Regulations which will be released shortly.

More information regarding the series will be released in the next short while, so we encourage all riders to stay tuned to the NSW MX Championship Facebook page for the latest information as it comes to hand.
