Vale Maggie Stacey

It is with a heavy heart that I spread the word of the passing of a great moto chick Maggie Stacey.

I didn’t know Maggie that well, I did scream from the sidelines as I always support a young chick riding and racing, I was so looking forward to watching her progress to a bigger bike and following her career. I spoke to her once in the back of the moto trailer and she spun shit with me we laughed with her friends she probably thought I was a total dick but I was just so happy to see and meet another chick racing.

“It is with a heavy heart we let you all know that we lost our Maggie Stacey last night.
Maggie was such a beautiful girl who loved her motorbikes and our club and we loved her so much in return. She was such a fun-loving, bubbly little moto chick and she couldn’t wait to get to the track to catch up with all her mates. Maggie was so proud and would get so excited when she could see riders, both young and old, improving and followed everyone’s racing even when she couldn’t be at the track. We send Jane, Gav, Jack & Ellie all our love 💔” Horsham Motorcycle Club.

A service to celebrate Maggie’s life will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Sea Lake on Saturday 28th at 10.30 am. Followed by a private burial.

Dress code is no suits, but shorts and funny socks are a must. Toe socks and thongs are acceptable.” Jane Stacey.

I am stuck between two worlds, fighting the heat which I don’t do that well and attending a funeral of a young lady I respected, if I can’t make it, I will be there in spirit wearing my glow in the dark or cat socks, RIP Maggie, it was so awesome to meet you, I will miss watching you race, ride high in the sky.
