Australian Jed Beaton has announced he will not be lining up for the MXGP of Belgium 04 August 2019.

“Can’t believe it…” stated Jed Beaton on social media. “Yesterday I was practising for Lommel GP and smashed my chest on the bars that hard I fractured my sternum without even crashing, I guess this really hasn’t been my year, just as I was starting to feel good and comfortable on my @rockstarhusky I get this little set back…. again ☹️ let’s get healthy and go again 💪🏼 I will still be at Lommel this weekend supporting my team and will have plenty of time to sign autographs! Thanks everyone for the amazing support and effort, you all know who you are! See you this weekend ✌🏼 @rockstarenergy @husqvarna1903

This will mark the third round Beaton will miss with 5 Rounds remaining (Belgium, Italy, Sweeden, Turkey and China). Jed currently sits in 7th overall for the MX2 World Championship on 250 points.
