Victorian Postcodes in lockdown as Corona Virus Spikes


For the motocross community the fact that there has been Corona Virus Spikes in Melbourne area’s will surely halt proceedings after Motorcycling Victoria Released a return to sport guide this week.

The Victorian Government has implemented the following:

The following postcodes to go into lockdown until at least 29 July from Wednesday 1 July from 11:59pm.

3038 – Taylors Lakes, Keilor Downs, Keilor Lodge, Watergardens

3064 – Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, Mickleham, Kalkallo, Donnybrook

3047 – Broadmeadows, Dallas, Jacana

3060 – Fawkner

3012 – Maidstone, West Footscray, Kingsville, Brooklyn, Tottenham

3032 – Maribyrnong, Highpoint City, Ascot Vale, Travancore

3055 – Brunswick Soth West, Moonee Vale, Moreland West

3042 – Airport West, Niddrie, Keilor Park

3021 – St Albans, Kealba, Albanvale, Kings Park

3046 – Glenroy, Hadfield, Oak Park

What does this mean? You should not leave you home if you live in the above areas unless for the following four reasons;

  • shop for food and other necessary goods and services.
  • access medical services or provide caregiving – for example, this includes shared parenting obligations or providing care and support to an unwell, disabled, elderly or pregnant friend or relative.
  • Work or education
  • Exercises

It is unlikely at this stage that Motorcycling will fall into the ‘exercising’ banner under Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions.
